Surveys/Polls/Quizzes

The survey that I took was about what your aesthetic is for 2025. During this survey, the quiz asks a variety of questions: what do you do on a typical night out, what is your ideal vacation, what is your power outfit, what is your favorite hobby, etc. To get the results of the quiz, I posted it on social media for my friends to respond to. When I took the quiz, I got “little miss ‘holding onto my last shred of sanity.’” When my friends took the quiz, the other results were “evolved villainess”, “main character energy,” and “little miss ‘holding onto my last shred of sanity.’”
What is interesting about these results is that all of my friends got different responses and said that the quiz was very restrictive. Questions did not have enough depth or options to measure what my 2025 aesthetic is accurately. When I asked my friend if they believed the survey to be accurate, 25% thought it was accurate, 25% thought it was somewhat accurate, and 50% thought it was not accurate at all. The reactions of my friends come from the reliability of the survey. Since the survey is all about making assumptions based on a few questions, it does not have all the information to make a complete decision. Although the information is limited, it can provide some truthful answers, which is why some of my friends found the survey to be truthful or somewhat truthful. What we can take is that all surveys/polls/quizzes can be interpreted in many different ways based on the number of questions the person can answer, the amount of information provided in the quizzes, and the biases that each person has in how they take and interpret the quiz.
I liked how you asked your friends rather than looking up data from the websites. That takes much longer to do but garners much more relatable responses. I hope you and your friends had fun taking the quiz and I liked that you did a nuanced quiz. Daniel Yi
